Josh Fox's Bio

Josh Fox earned a Bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. He apprenticed both CoreyPine Shane and Joe Hollis and completed programs at the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine and the American School of Herbalism. He received additional herbal training and inspiration from both Frank Cook, Green Light, and Sevensong, and became licensed to practice acupuncture by the state of North Carolina.

While continuing to deepen into Chinese Medicine with Daoist master, Jeffrey Yuen, Fox broadened his healing toolkit with trainings in Re-evaluative Co-counseling (RC) and Non-Violent Communication (NVC). Inspired by the works of Sobonfu Somé, Frances Weller, Joanna Macy, and Martin Prechtel; he has become an avid student of grief-work, receiving direct ceremonial instruction from Laurence Cole and Kedar Brown. He currently trains in Somatic Experiencing (SE) to provide relief from trauma and he continues to train with Giles Carwyn in Carpetwork-- tools to work with the shadows in one's psyche.

Fox served on the herbal medicine faculty of Daoist Traditions College between 2014-2020, and has continued to teach and facilitate at the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine since 2010.
